PKS Kutty Nair, a pioneering Indian cartoonist, trained under the legendary Shankar and worked alongside him at various points from 1941 to 1950. Over his nearly six-decade career, Kutty’s cartoons appeared in various national newspapers, including Hindustan Times, which syndicated his work in 1961-62. This illustration from the 18th July 1962 edition offers a cheeky take on India-France relations.
